Today I had quite the amazing experience with my daughter and her crafts. My husband and daughter decided to make homemade stress balls. I can say that there are many days I need one of those stress balls they are making.
Stress balls consist of flour, a balloon, and a few other key ingredients all are super messy. My husband suggested they do the project outside out on our porch. Great idea! Less mess for me!
I went outside to check out the mess. First, I see is my daughter laughing her head off. I asked her what she was laughing about, and I turn to see her pointing to Mona and Bebe. Both pups look as if their entire faces were covered in white flour. Neither one of the dogs seemed to mind that they looks so hilarious! Flour was everywhere.
I had one of those mom moments that I had to sit back and remind myself a little flour isn’t going to hurt the dogs, my daughter or me. I had to remember to savor the moment that made us all laugh. I had to remember to breathe and live in the moment.
We all need to have a stress ball moment.
